By using MotorTrader, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before listing or purchasing a vehicle.

1. About MotorTrader

MotorTrader is a vehicle marketplace platform that connects buyers and sellers in Costa Rica and Central America. MotorTrader acts as a technology intermediary and is not a party to any buy-sell transaction between users.

2. Eligibility and registration

To use MotorTrader you must:

Be at least 18 years of age.
Provide truthful and current information in your profile.
Be a resident or have legal capacity to contract in your country.

3. Listing vehicles

Sellers are responsible for:

The accuracy of all published information (year, price, condition, photos, etc.).
Being the legal owner or authorized to sell the vehicle.
Not listing stolen vehicles or those with undisclosed liens or tax debts.
Responding promptly to buyer inquiries.

4. Payments and plans

Payments are processed securely via Stripe (card) or SINPE Móvil. Upon purchasing a listing plan, you agree that the charged amount is non-refundable except in the case of proven technical error. Plans have fixed validity periods (30 or 60 days) from the listing publication date.

5. Prohibited content

It is prohibited to publish:

Stolen vehicles or those with false documentation.
Misleading, fraudulent content or photos of other vehicles.
Duplicate contact info to evade fees.
Commercial vehicle listings without the appropriate dealer plan.

6. Limitation of liability

MotorTrader does not guarantee the accuracy of information provided by sellers or the suitability of any vehicle. Buyers should conduct their own due diligence, including consulting vehicle history in the National Registry.

7. Modifications

MotorTrader reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you by email of material changes. Continued use of the platform after notification constitutes acceptance.
